T16: 11-Thok

Zusammenfassung

  • NPC Reihung: Akolik, Gorai, Montak

Taktikvorschlag Wiking:

Beispiel-CD-Einteilung P1:

Phase 1 (1st time)
4 Stack = PW:Barrier -> BoP Holy Priest -> Divine Hymn at 5 stacks -> Barrier 2 as 1st goes down -> BoP Resto druid (me) Tranq -> Smoke Bomb 1 + Rallying Cry 1 to allow us to phase change. That usually gets us around 12~ stacks.

Phase 1 (2nd time)
4 stacks -> Smoke bomb 2 + Rallying Cry 2 -> BoP Boomkin -> Boomkin Tranq -> BoP Resto Shaman -> Resto shaman uses HTT + Spirit Link + Ascendence to control health of raid to get us to phase 2 again

Nettes Killvid von Raid in unserem DPS Bereich. Positionierung würde ich so wie hier in etwa machen:

Tipps

Priest:
– Divine Star going to be the pay to go as far as lvl 90 talents go.
– Inner Focus is very good, given that when you use it, you are immune to silence for 5 seconds. I tried to save Inner Focus for as long as I could in order to get most use out of the 5 second silence immune
-Glyph of Binding Heal makes BH a good spell for this phase, a quick cast that will heal 2 targets and yourself.
– For the phase when he fixates people, Angelic Feathers provide a useful speed boost to those kiting

Mage: For Thok the Bloodthirsty, if you have space for the Glyph of Cone of Cold, you should replace Arcane Explosion with Cone of Cold in your instant cast rotation when it’s off cooldown.

Blut-DK: Anti Magic Shell – using it before freezing, scorching and acid breath preventing application of stacks

DD-DK: -Although Fearsome Roar is purely physical, Anti-Magic Shell will help a lot if you are affected by Corrosive Blood or Freezing Breath. Since multiple players may be affected by this and the dot damage is one of the problematic abilities, even Anti-Magic Zone should help your healers
-Rather obvious, but use Death’s Advance if you are targeted by Fixate and Blood Frenzy already has a couple of stacks. You should not need the boost if you are fixated in the beginning and keep in mind that you can get fixated multiple times

Jäger: – Should be every hunter’s favorite fight since we don’t get interrupted and can maintain almost full uptime on Thok.

– Have MD macroed to the tank since the adds hit really hard and the tanks are usually a little behind the group when initially spreading out for Blood Frenzy.

– Recommend posthaste – the speed boost allows you to get away quickly as soon as you (or any baddie running towards you) gets fixated.

– Keep tranq shot on the ready to dispel enrage off the adds. I’m usually only targeting the adds if our rogue is fixated.

Heildruide-Bloodied will be hard to with deal so you should use caution with aoe heals in order to enter the second phase.

-Use Soothe to dispel Enrage from Kor’kron Jailer.

-Glyph of Stampeding Roar is really handy.

Magier: -Use the Glyph to kite the boss. It’s especially useful if you prefer Presence of Mind to Blazing Speed.
For Thok the Bloodthirsty i recommend spamming Arcane Explosion as your main spell when the boss starts to cast Deafening Screech faster and you can’t finish your spellcasts. Remember to always refresh your bomb on the target.
I recommend Blazing Speed for almost all the fights, to stack fast or escape from mechanics. When you are faster, you can get a better position to focus dps on targets w/o doing a lot of movement.

For Thok the Bloodthirsty, if you have space for the Glyph of Cone of Cold, you should replace Arcane Explosion with Cone of Cold in your instant cast rotation when it’s off cooldown unless you are Arcane, since Arcane has a chance to get Arcane Charges from using Arcane Explosion, allowing them to use Arcane Barrage at max stacks. Though, if you still find yourself getting interrupted, it might be worth the Glyph slot for when you are Arcane locked.

Also on Thok the Bloodthirsty, you can make use of Greater Invisibility to cause the boss to stop chasing you when you are Fixated and chase after the player with the highest threat (generally the tank). Just be sure that this player is aware of what you are doing and try to stall a bit before casting so that the boss ping-pongs from you to them.

As for the assertion about the use of Living Bomb on Fallen Protectors, if logs prove differently in the coming weeks, I will update that suggestion. So far, I was able to produce higher numbers with Nether Tempest, but that’s purely anecdotal.

Heal-Monk: This fight is very SCK heavy. RJW may work well here, but if you’re struggling on DPS on this boss, Xuen would be much better, He’ll give you a constant stream of healing for 45s and add to your raid DPS. Don’t use Chi Torpedo, you need to stay stacked.
As normal, ReM EH, Burst/wave, on CD. Use SCK as your main Chi Generator, and Spam uplift every time he roars. Use Thunder focus tea towards before you want to phase and spam spam spam uplift/SCK.
During phase 2 I would recommend having Tiger’s Lust. Its very useful for getting away from the boss or using it on another player that needs the boost more than you.

Heal-Pala: Devotion Aura is invaluable for Thok the Bloodthirsty phase 1 by stopping interrupts from Deafening Screeches. If timed well, you can get a Devotion Aura effect through two, maybe three Screeches. Clemency can also be given to a druid or Holy priest, allowing a tranq/Divine Hymn during Screeches

Alle Palas:  Hand of protection your healers (mainly the cast time ones like shaman and possibly druid so he can tranq) on initial phase and 3rd phase

Disci-Priest– Divine Star going to be the pay to go as far as lvl 90 talents go. Raid is mostly stacked during the initial AOE phase. Also found that if I got spell locked, I could still use Divine Star.

– The meta gem proc (Lucidity) is really good here. Be sure to track when it procs and put shields on as many people as you can.

– Inner Focus is very good, given that when you use it, you are immune to silence for 5 seconds. I tried to save Inner Focus for as long as I could in order to get most use out of the 5 second silence immune

– I found I had to use Spirit Shell near the beginning in order to make best use of it.

-Glyph of Binding Heal makes BH a good spell for this phase, a quick cast that will heal 2 targets and yourself.

– For the phase when he fixates people, Angelic Feathers provide a useful speed boost to those kiting

Holy-Priest: Talents: Divine Star (assuming raid stacks at least in P1), FDcL, Angelic Feather or B&S
Glyphs: Binding Heal; Deep Well; CoH
Chakra: Sanctuary
Tips:
P1: Think instas for later part of P1 i.e. PoM/CoH/DS (screech will come faster and faster and will interrupt/lock out your spells , so casted heals will fail). Use Divine Hymn early on when breaks between screech are longest, or together with paladin’s Devotion Aura to prevent interruption. Proc’ing FHs and BHs will help to build up Serendipidy stacks which then let you cast fast PoHs. For 2nd P1, use Massdispel to get rid of Corrosive Blood (SPs can help here).
/Edit: 3 min Cds will be up every second P1
P2: Place feathers along kite path (we stack in middle and kite around edge 3 times, then take portal into long hallway). B&S shield right after someone gets Fixated.

Shadow-Priest: Beast of a fight. Fade + VE on top of Devotion Aura or BoP to cast through roars and help healers. Angelic Feathers are a must here in my opinion, since Thok starts ramping up his speed quite fast, and in the 8 seconds he chases me, Body and Soul boost just won’t suffice. Also throw them on top of the other players‘ kite path to help them out. Had DI specced, but once the fire guy is released, the raid gets a buff that makes most of our hits do an extra 100k damage or around that value. Twist of Fate + Devo Aura + VE Glyphed can work wonders here as long as you break just long enough to move out of the quite probable fire patch.

Ele-Schami: Primal Elementalist can help sustain damage on Thok late in Phase 1 when you are finding it hard to cast spells.
It’s been suggested that Glyph of Fire Elemental Totem will help, since you could get your Fire Elemental up pretty much every time Phase 1 is up.

Enhancer-Schami: Using Stone Bulwark Totem with Shamanistic Rage will provide a really excellent damage reduction when Thok is near the end of Phase 1.
Co-ordinate with your healers when they’d like you to use Ancestral Guidance and Healing Tide Totem to help with the healing.
Glyph of Healing Storm allows you to help with off-heals when people dip low. When using on 5 stacks of Maelstrom Weapon, you cannot be interrupted.
You might have to play around with your use of Maelstrom Weapon to find a good combination of survivability and DPS.
Glyph of Fire Elemental Totem lets you summon your Fire Elemental roughly at the start of each Phase 1.
Play around to find your best combination of healing Glyphs, for instance; Flight of the Netherwing, Glyph of Feral Spirit and Glyph of Flame Shock.
It’s been speculated that a build with Primal Elementalist and Elemental Mastery might be better for this fight than an Echo of the Elements and Unleashed Fury spec.

Resto-Schami: Getting your healing in around Deafening Screech is the main challenge here! Some specific tips;

Speccing for Conductivity will mean you can maintain healing while Screech is active.
Towards the end while Screech is non-stop, you can use Ascendance with a Healing Rain buffed by Unleash Life and insta-cast with Ancestral Swiftness.
Totemic Persistence can allow you to have Healing Stream and Healing Tide up simultaneously without requiring cast time.
If you have a Paladin, try getting them to bubble you when Deafening Screech is getting bad – there have been reports that this will protect you from the effects of Screech for a while. If so, use Ascendance when Bubble lands on you.
Glyph of Riptide will allow you to increase throughput by blanketing the raid.
Spirit Link Totem can be used to mitigate some damage and reduce the amount of healing required.

Warlock: Recommended Spec: Demonology
Recommended Talents:

T1 – Soul Leech

T2 – Mortal Coil

T3 – Soul Link

T4 – Burning Rush – use to avoid Pursuit of Thok

T5 – Grimoire of Service/Supremacy

T6 – Kil’Jaeden’s Cunning

All – Demonology preferred because of ability to not be affected by interrupts

Demonolongy
– DoT jailer and focus on Thok
– use Metamorphosis and Touch of Chaos spam to avoid Thok’s interrupt mechanic

– use KJC so you can continue using Shadow Bolt during his pursuit of others

Arms/Fury Warrior: Save Heroic Leap for when you get fixated, to quickly get away from Thok.
Never kite Thok through your raid.
During phase 2, you can DPS Thok during the first 2-3 fixates. Remeber to back up as he’s casting fixate to make sure he doesn’t immediately Chomp you, and go back to DPSing the jailer once Thok starts moving too fast.
When the frequency of the Screeches gets fast enough 2-3+ stacks, switch to Berserker Stance for extra rage.

    Eine Korrektur bzgl. des Diszi-Priests.

Alles was unter „Tip from Mark4072:“ steht ist dem „Spoils of Pandaria“ Fight zuzuordnen und hat Nichts mit Thok zu tun.
